چکیده
While transient photoluminescence measurements are a very popular tool to monitor the charge-carrier dynamics in field of halide perovskite photovoltaics, interpretation data obtained on multilayer samples is highly challenging due superposition various effects that modulate concentration layer and thereby measured PL. These include bulk interfacial recombination, charge transfer electron or hole transport layers capacitive charging discharging. Here, numerical simulations with Sentauraus TCAD, analytical solutions experimental dynamic range ~7 orders magnitude variety different sample geometries from films glass full devices combined present an improved understanding this method. A presentation decay time TPL follows taking derivative at every proposed. Plotting as function time-dependent quasi-Fermi level splitting enables distinguishing between contributions radiative non-radiative recombination well extraction decay.

Correction to "Emergence of Hysteresis and Transient Ferroelectric Response in Organo-Lead Halide Perovskite Solar Cells".
Although there has been rapid progress in the efficiency of perovskite-based solar cells, hysteresis in the current-voltage performance is not yet completely understood. Owing to its complex structure, it is not easy to attribute the hysteretic behavior to any one of different components, such as the bulk of the perovskite or different heterojunction interfaces. Among organo-lead halide perovsk...
متن کاملA composite light-harvesting layer from photoactive polymer and halide perovskite for planar heterojunction solar cells
A new route for fabrication of photoactive materials in organic-inorganic hybrid solar cells is presented in this report. Photoactive materials by blending a semiconductive conjugated polymer with an organolead halide perovskite were fabricated for the first time. The composite active layer was then used to make planar heterojunction solar cells with the PCBM film as the electron-acceptor. Phot...
متن کاملElusive Presence of Chloride in Mixed Halide Perovskite Solar Cells.
The role of chloride in the MAPbI3-xClx perovskite is still limitedly understood, albeit subjected of much debate. Here, we present a combined angle-resolved X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (AR-XPS) and first-principles DFT modeling to investigate the MAPbI3-xClx/TiO2 interface. AR-XPS analyses carried out on ad hoc designed bilayers of MAPbI3-xClx perovskite deposited onto a flat TiO2 substra...
متن کاملRecent progress in efficient hybrid lead halide perovskite solar cells
The efficiency of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) has been improved from 9.7 to 19.3%, with the highest value of 20.1% achieved in 2014. Such a high photovoltaic performance can be attributed to optically high absorption characteristics and balanced charge transport properties with long diffusion lengths of the hybrid lead halide perovskite materials. In this review, some fundamental details of h...
متن کاملSlow Cooling of Hot Polarons in Halide Perovskite Solar Cells
Halide perovskites show unusual thermalization kinetics for above-bandgap photoexcitation. We explain this as a consequence of excess energy being deposited into discrete large polaron states. The crossover between low-fluence and high-fluence "phonon bottleneck" cooling is due to a Mott transition where the polarons overlap (n ≥ 1018 cm-3) and the phonon subpopulations are shared. We calculate...
